A word from the president...
Wood Glen residents,
We've started 2007 with several new changes you need to know about. First, we say goodbye to a very hardworking, outgoing President in Bob Harkins. He has kept the board in great shape and brought many new improvements to our neighborhood. Thank you, Bob, for your time and effort on behalf of Wood Glen.
Also, we have several new board members and committee chairs who are generously giving their time to keep Wood Glen a wonderful place to live. Please see the chart here to find your section representative and committee contacts. While we have a management company in place to pay bills and other important duties, there are many items that would not get done without the work of these resident volunteers. I want to personally thank all of you that have given your time towards improving our neighborhood. With your help, we are achieving our ongoing mission to maintain and increase property values and keep Wood Glen a safe and enjoyable place to live.
Although we have recently filled several key positions, there are still some important areas that need volunteers. We still need committee chairs for the Safety Committee, the Neighborhood Watch Committee and the Clean-Up Committee. As always, any resident is welcome to help out in any capacity. You don’t have to be a committee chair to help out. Please let us know what you can do.
As our lovely neighborhood fast approaches its 10-year mark, it’s very important we continue the upkeep and improvements. I’m proud to help serve in that capacity as your new Wood Glen Property Owners Association Board of Directors President.
Best regards and best wishes for a wonderful 2007,
Grace Capwell
Section 1 Representative and WGPOA Board President
