Wood Glen Needs Social Co-Chairperson

Do your children or grandchildren enjoy the wonderful social events at the Wood Glen amenity center?  The events are one of the highlights of our neighborhood and make lasting memories for our children.  We are fortunate to have a parent step up to take the Social Co-Chairperson spot but we need one more volunteer to help share the load.  Many residents are willing to help out with the details but we still need a co-leader.  Please consider volunteering to help out with:

Wood Glen annual events:

• Easter bunny egg hunt
• Fourth of July bike parade
• National Night Out meet your neighbors
• Halloween carnival and costume contest
• Cocoa (and pictures) with Santa

Social Co-Chair general responsibilities:

• Picking social date and planning/executing communications
• Booking vendors such as entertainment, rock wall, concession, Santa, Easter Bunny
• Purchasing supplies like cups, plates, napkins and decorations
• Coordinating any volunteers for set-up and break-down help
• Supervision of event itself
