+++Materials are not accepted before 4 p.m.+++
Cost: free; however, you must bring your City of Round Rock water bill and driver's license as proof of residency within the City limits (driver's license alone, other utility bills or tax statements will not be accepted). Please note that having a Round Rock address does not mean that you pay Round Rock City taxes!
$10-Appointment Based Service
To arrange a drop-off time for HHW materials outside normal collection events, please call 218-5559. A trained chemist from the Environmental Services Department will schedule an appropriate time for this service. For safety reasons, DO NOT ATTEMPT to drop off materials with staff at the Recycling Center. Recycling Center staff are not trained to perform this service and will refer you to the above telephone number.
The availability of this service will be at the discretion of the Environmental Services Supervisor and can not be scheduled for weekend service.
This service is for City of Round Rock residents only - a City of Round Rock water bill must be presented.
The $10 appointment fee is payable at time of the scheduled appointment. Cash or checks payable to the City of Round Rock are accepted (no credit cards). This fee is not for disposal of the HHW items, it is for the convenience of disposing of items outside of the normal collection times. Annually the City has an average of 14 collection events scheduled per year.
Please remember that it is the resident's responsibility to dispose of materials properly!
Residents who leave unauthorized hazardous materials at the Recycling Center can be subjected to illegal dumping fines.
