Cocoa With Santa A Success

The Wood Glen Property Owners Association (WGPOA) sponsored the annual “Cocoa with Santa” this past December 9th.  The man in red made a dramatic arrival with a personal escort by Round Rock’s finest and their matching red fire engine.

Many proud parents were prepared with their children dressed in red and green warm clothing – yes, it got cold! -- to take pictures with Santa.  Each child received a coloring book or reading book from Ol’ Saint Nick for coming to see him.

Wood Glen volunteers set up real hot cocoa, fresh water and half a dozen different types of festive cookies for young and old.  But, many children were forbidden to eat until after the pictures were taken.

Then it was chilly fun throughout the amenity center of laughing and screaming, happy kids.  Thanks to all the wonderful parents for making memorable holiday moments for the Wood Glen children.  Thanks so much to all who helped make the event a huge success:  Denise Hoss, Shawn Hoss, Josh Hoss, Jen Johnson, Grace Capwell and Julie Kerr (photographer).
