Old Town Elementary Welcome Walk

We had another successful Old Town Elementary Welcome Walk on August 23rd. If you are unfamiliar with what this is, it’s a time when the Old Town Elementary teachers visit the home of each new child in their class so they have an opportunity to meet both the parents and the children. They handed out welcome walk bags filled with very helpful information. The teachers were on a tight schedule since they had many homes to visit, but you wouldn’t know it, because they were as friendly, welcoming and helpful as ever. This is something above and beyond that Old Town Elementary does that most other schools do not do. We are very fortunate to have such wonderful and dedicated teachers to educate our children.
