Greater Austin Walk Now for Autism

Autism Speaks presents the 2007 Greater Austin Walk Now for Austin from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 10 at the Dell Diamond. The walk will raise money and awareness for autism research.

Rockin' Around the Holidays Bazaar
Arts and Crafts Show

Cost: Free admission
The holiday bazaar will have more than 90 vendors displaying jewelry, candles, toys, pictures, holiday décor, holiday gifts, and more.
Children ages 4-8 are welcome to visit the Elves Workshop to create a wonderful holiday craft. Cost is $2/hour with a 1 hour maximum. Parents with children under 4 years of age may drop their child off at the Clay Madsen Playroom for $2/hour with a 1 hour maximum.  
Free admission for shoppers.

Household Hazardous Waste Collection

The City of Round Rock will be sponsoring a Household Hazardous Waste Collection from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, November 17 at the Drop Off Recycling Center. 
City of Round Rock residents can bring their left over paint, pesticides, fertilizers, stain and home chemicals from 9 a.m. to noon to the Drop Off Recycling Center located at 310 Deepwood Drive. Please bring your water bill for proof of residency. Contractor/business waste will not be accepted.

• Stain

Family Volunteer Day

The Round Rock Volunteer Center is excited to announce the 2nd annual Family Volunteer Day.
The Kick-Off Event will take place at 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17 at the Allen R. Baca Center located at 301 West Bagdad Bldg. 2 in Round Rock. Service projects appropriate for all ages will begin shortly thereafter and will greatly benefit several non-profit organizations in the vicinity of Bagdad Avenue and Brown Street in Round Rock. The event will come to a close with a picnic on the green and families will be able to enjoy live music, interact with Disney characters, bounce on the moonwalk, and participate in activities and games.
Family volunteering is a fantastic way to spend quality time with loved ones while making a significant impact in your local community. We invite you to join us in an extraordinary experience on Saturday, Nov. 17, and spend valuable time Working Together, Creating Memories, and Making a Difference!

Monthly Dances at Baca Center

MONTHLY DANCES
The Allen R Baca Center and USA Dance are hosting MONTHLY DANCES! A live band will play and you can dance the time away with different types of music each month!  USA Dance has many chapters throughout the United States. The Williamson County Texas Chapter #5034 will host monthly dances at the Baca Center. Together we hope to provide you with the opportunity to join your friends for an evening of dancing and socializing.

When:  Fourth Saturday each month. July 28, Aug 25, & September 22, 2007
Time:  7:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Fee:  $5.00 members of USA Dance, $8.00 non-members of USA Dance
A yearly membership to USA Dance is $25 a year. New members can register at any dance. You do not need to be a Baca Center member to attend.
