President’s Letter
President Grace Capwell |
Where does the time go? The older I get the faster it goes by. Here it is almost December, the holiday season is upon us and I’m amazed. As always, it will become busy and fun. Don’t forget to make plans to have cocoa with Santa at the amenity center! The Wood Glen Property Owners Association board will continue to meet monthly through the winter and do budget planning as well as get our scheduled projects completed. I mentioned last month that we will complete improvements at the pool/amenity center including updating and adding new signage, tree pruning, tree vine removal and more. The first section of vine removal is already done.

We also will be making decisions about fence repairs and website updates. Board members are researching the best options for keeping our common area fences safe and maintained as our property ages. We are considering adding a private section to our website for residents only (via password) to post documents and gather opinions from property owners for ongoing planning. For updates on these areas, visit our website at www.woodglen.org While you’re there, sign up for our mailing list if you are not already on it.
Thanks once again to Denise Hoss, our social chair, for organizing the Halloween event. The kids had a great time and the pictures say it all! We’re still waiting for that awesome person to step up and take over for our social events next year. Call me or Denise if you have any questions.
Also, I’d like to welcome Ms. Leslie Myers and Ms. Sue Kernan as our new ant bait control program co-chairs. They have volunteered to handle the scheduling, communications and completion of the semi-annual ant bait control program and I’m so thrilled to have them on board!
Have a blessed and wonderful holiday,
Grace Capwell
